What is the session about?

  • Based on 50 years of administrative experience and 22+ years of running a corporation, Dr. Jim Tanner will cover the basic decisions, approaches, and nuances of starting and surviving with your own business. While every endeavor is unique, this webinar will prepare you to understand what issues you need to consider in starting and maintaining a business and the effect of the decisions you make.

Dr. Tanner has served as a community corrections professional since 1970. He specializes in Cognitive Social Psychology, Sociology of Law, and Evaluation Research. He has authored Quick Skills and has worked alongside Dr. Stephen Brake to create the Structured Sex Offender Treatment (SSTOR). Additionally, he designed Field Search, currently in use by law enforcement in numerous countries. He is the President of KBSolutions.

Dr. Tanner is nationally recognized for his expertise in adult and juvenile offenders. He has given numerous seminars and workshops to local, state, and national agencies.
